Hmmmmm....how does one answer this? Depends on the day really, but my final answer would be a resounding YES. I am so privileged and feel so blessed to be home with our children. My superstar hubby supports me in my decision to put my teaching career on hold (mostly...I do a bit of tutoring) and stay home to nurture my three most favourite little people. Everyday has it's ups and downs, and sometimes I question my decision to be at home ALL the time. But then something really amazing happens, like Colton coming home from school with a super loose tooth and I "get" to be the one to pull it out. Or like Levi teaching Daisy how to count to ten with the patience of Job and I got to spy on the whole interaction. Or like Daisy working with foamy letters and spelling her name with no help (okay, she left out the 'a', but she's only 2 people!) I consider all of these moments to be like flowers for me. Beautiful blooming memories that will last a lifetime. Each one unique and beautiful wrapped up in my budding creatures. It is in moments like these that I am so sure that I am where I am to be, with no regrets of missed opportunities (well, maybe one or two when I chose to scrub the floors instead of dancing around to Hi5 or playing just one more game of war.) In my little world I am living my dream and I am so grateful.
